Hi! My name is Libby, and this will be my first semester as an admissions counselor! Starting this semester, my good friend, Jenna, has the privilege of being a resident assistant in the girl’s dorm. She will be missed as an admissions counselor, but she is very excited about this new opportunity to minister to the girls on campus.

So, you may be wondering a little bit about me. J Well, to start out with, I am from a little town in Indiana, much like the Andy Griffith, Mayberry. I have an older brotherand a younger sister, and although we are spread out in age by six years, we are still very close! My brother is now married to my best friend's sister which has been an added blessing to our family! I love volleyball- both playing and watching.

I like to read and can become very addicted to Sudoku puzzles. J My favorite food is definitely mint chocolate Oreos with mint chocolate chip ice cream!

I accepted Christ as my Savior at the age of fourteen. Having grown up in a Christian home, knowing of salvation, and supposedly having prayed a prayer when I was younger, I had always thought that I was saved. At camp during the summer between my 7th and 8th grade year, however, God made it clear that I wasn't saved and was in need of His mercy and grace. I struggled with rebellion and peer pressure during my first couple years of high school, and it wasn't until the summer going into my junior year of high school that God broke my heart and turned me completely to Him and His will for my life.

I am a sophomore this year, majoring in Church Ministries. I have a burden to serve God in full-time Christian service; however, God has not yet shown me where or how. The Church Ministries emphasis offers classes that deal with all sorts of ministries like camp, counseling, Sunday school, and children and youth ministries. Northland’s heart and focus on the ministry is definitely what directed me here. Northland’s desire is that all its students graduate knowing and loving God more. I cannot begin to explain how much Northland has helped me in my walk with God; I’m not only learning more about Him, but I am beginning to actually KNOW Him!

I look forward to hearing from you, getting to know you, and answering all your questions!
