Hey!

My name is Laura and I’m an admissions counselor here at Northland. Originally, I’m from the Kansas City area in Missouri and I have a wonderfully supportive family there. They have always been encouraging me to do what is right and their loving influence has been so crucial in the decisions I have had to make.

Here at NBBC, I’m a sophomore Biblical Counseling major and I must say I absolutely love it! Northland has had such a huge impact on my life. Honestly, before I came I was struggling in my daily walk with the Lord. I had devotions but I was looking for principles and morals to live by rather than searching for who God is and who I am in light of Him. Since being here I have learned so much through classes, godly friends, and

people in authority about what it truly means to “walk with the Lord.” Not that I have this down by any stretch of the imagination, but the Lord has been at work in my life and I am so thankful for that!
